Orders & Shipping

Order online at theatrehouse.com any time, or talk to a real person — call us at 800.827.2414 or email info@theatrehouse.com. We've been outfitting productions since 1955, so if you're not sure exactly what you need, ask. We're happy to help you spec it.

In-stock items ship promptly after your order is placed. If something is out of stock or backordered, we'll ship what's ready and follow with the rest (see Backorders below).

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your order and destination. We don't currently offer free shipping — what you see at checkout is the real carrier cost, with no padding.

Yes. We email tracking details when your order ships.

We ship within the United States, its territories, and to American military and diplomatic addresses overseas (APO, FPO and DPO). Just order as usual — or email info@theatrehouse.com with any questions.

Backorders & Availability

We ship the in-stock part of your order right away and send the rest when it arrives. For purchase-order customers, we cover the shipping on that second shipment so a backorder never costs you extra.

Fabric colours can shift between dye lots and look different on screen depending on your monitor. If colour accuracy matters for your build, order a sample first — cut and custom-fabricated fabric can't be returned.

Schools, Tax-Exempt & Purchase Orders

Yes. We accept purchase orders from government agencies, K–12 schools, colleges and universities, and churches/religious organisations. Our terms are NET-30, and we honour PO agreements established under previous ownership.

Because we now operate out of Colorado, we'll need a current tax-exempt form on file — earlier forms from prior ownership are no longer valid for us. Email it to info@theatrehouse.com and we'll get you set up.

NET-30 from the shipment date. Take a 1.5% discount if payment reaches us within 10 days of the invoice. Invoices are sent electronically when your order ships unless you request a paper copy.

Payments

We accept all major credit cards through our secure checkout. Approved institutions can purchase on NET-30 terms with a purchase order.

Yes. Checkout runs on Shopify's PCI-DSS-compliant platform. Card data is encrypted in transit with SSL and stored under AES-256 encryption — we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and never store your full card details ourselves.

Returns & Exchanges

We offer exchanges within 30 days of purchase on eligible, unused items in their original packaging. Because so much of what we sell is personal or made-to-order, several categories are final sale — see the full Return Policy for the complete list.

For health and safety reasons, there are no returns or exchanges on makeup, fabrics or trims, special orders, wigs, dancewear, teeth, video, CDs/tapes, parasols, shoes, books, lingerie, hose, or intimate items. Cut fabric and custom fabrication are also final.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you with the decision. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 14 days.

Visiting & Local Pickup

Theatre House, 4025 S Mason St, Ste B, Fort Collins, CO 80525 — inside The Life of the Party. Showroom hours: Tuesday–Saturday 12–6pm and Sunday 12–5pm (closed Monday).

Yes. Pick up in person at our Fort Collins showroom during the hours above — no need to schedule ahead.
